The incumbent will specifically work on projects related to optimizing ROI through understanding of marketing spends on promotions, advertising, etc. from P&Ls of large CPG companies. Candidate is required to have experience of working with clients on consulting projects.

Responsibilities
 
Work with clients to understand their financials, marketing spends and data and build resource allocation frameworks that when implemented lead to better Marketing ROI
Work with team of analysts and domain experts to understand client issues, convert them into data problems, analyze these problems and create presentations that present the “story” from the analysis to clients
Independently manage day-to-day delivery of results along with team of analysts, ensure project deliverables are on-track at all times
Essential Skills and Qualities
 
Ability to read and understand consumer-goods company P&Ls, especially relating to marketing expenditures
Ability to work with complex spreadsheets with reams of financial data & supervise analysts working on the same
Excellent marketing domain knowledge understanding, particularly in the consumer goods domain.  
Should be good at Analytical thinking & breaking down large problems into solvable chunks
Ability to create frameworks to assess issues, particularly relating to marketing ROI. Experience in management consulting preferred.
Top B-Schools only
Minimum of 1.5years’ experience, maximum of 4-5 years or so – exceptions only in cases which are otherwise very relevant.
Consulting experience preferred to KPO-type experience. Preferably should have worked on client locations in India or abroad.
Some amount of understanding of finance.
