Job Title:  Engineer/Senior Engineer/Lead - Construction (Mechanical) 

Location: Construction site-Barmer

Primary Responsibilities:
Strong understanding of Mechanical design aspects related to construction of Process terminals & related Infrastructure.
Constructability review & recommendation
Conduct Field Engineering as required to effective execution of work
Day to day coordination of construction, monitoring the execution and making necessary action plans.
Co-ordination with interfacing discipline leads
Ensuring quality control in the job execution at sites along with prevention of wastage
Finalize Erection procedure in consultation with the Contractors for safe implementation.
Ensuring effective compliance to HSE requirements of the Company by the Contractor.
Maintaining, updating and monitoring the records of drawing specifications, communication and documentation
Preparation and follow-up of 'Look Ahead' schedules in consultation with the reporting manager. 
 


Skills / Experience Required:
Education: BE (Mechanical), Post Graduation in Construction management will be preferred.

Experience: 5 - 15 years experience in handling large construction projects in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Infrastructure Sectors.

Knowledge in:
Codes & Standards

Construction technology & Management, Codes and Standards,
QA/QC procedures and NDT, Safety Policies & needs, environment protection & pollution control, international quality standards in the Construction field.
Working principles of continuous improvement processes, Material control & reconciliation procedures, work order procedures, billing
Modern methodologies and best engineering practices
Desirable skills and attributes:
Defining scope of work, planning the construction activities for timely & smooth completion of the project, and understanding the overall construction sequence
Interpretation of drawings pertaining to piping, civil, mechanical, fabrication & erection methods of structural works
Usage of codes & standards, manpower planning as per the project need and schedule and optimum utilization of Manpower & other resources
Trouble shooting / giving solutions to complex problems, driving the project for a timely completion, and rate analysis.
Advanced computer skills - MS Office etc.
