The Analog/Mixed Signal Engineer (AMS) plays a critical role in the success of Synopsys’ customers as they design custom ICs which push the limits of complexity, time to market and silicon technology. By enabling the adoption of Synopsys' analog/mixed signal design products and leading-edge Discovery AMS methodologies, the AMS AC brings essential improvements in performance, cost, quality, and development time for these ICs.

The AMS Engineer works with customers to solve complex technical challenges in the area of Analog/Mixed signal designs, Library characterization, device level modeling, low power, and signal integrity. Customer support roles include training, problem resolution, methodology guidance, and technical account management. The AMS AC is expected to manage multiple customer issues concurrently and be very effective at interacting with them.
