Responsibilities:

• Setup and provide leadership/direction to the Company's Design Engineering Group new product design and definition consistent with the company's roadmap and priorities.

• Work with Product Management/Marketing selling materials particularly where there are technical content, warranty and assemble instructions involved.

• When required, provide estimated product costs based on overall product knowledge and likely course of action to create and acquire a particular product. • Maintain overall control and management of product Bills of Materials.

• Participate in organizations that establish standards for these products and obtain approval from regulatory bodies to develop LED products to meet market requirements and technical standards with good quality.

• Contribute to cross-functional project team composed of electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to develop products from concept into production.

Qualifications: • Electrical design entails analog / digital design, LED / driver interface study and EMI & thermal consideration.

• BS in Electrical Engineering degree required. Power Engineering preferred.

• Minimum 3-4 years in designing electronic components

• Experience with LED lighting and knowledge of thermal management

• Knowledge of analog and digital circuitry design with experience in soft switching techniques, resonant systems, feedback control system design and stability analysis, RFI/EMI filtering techniques, thermal analysis, and PCB layout design.
