Job Designation : Engineer/Senior Engineer/Lead - Construction (Electrical)
Qualification : B.Tech/B.E. 
Experience : Min  (5) Year  Max  (15) Year

Job Description : Strong understanding of Electrical design aspects related to construction of Process terminals & related Infrastructure, 33 kv transmission system, etc.,.
Managing Electrical works executed by Contractor
Conduct Field Engineering as required to effective execution of work
Day to day coordination of construction, monitoring the execution and making necessary action plans.
Co-ordination with interfacing discipline leads

Ensuring quality control in the job execution at sites along with prevention of wastage.
Ensuring effective compliance to HSE requirements of the Company by the Contractor.
Maintaining, updating and monitoring the records of drawing specifications, communication and documentation
Preparation and follow-up of 'Look Ahead' schedules in consultation with the reporting manager.
Co-ordinate with Contractors for timely receipt of necessary statutory requirements as applicable for the projects.
Quantity Survey & Certification

Skills / Experience Required:
Education: BE (Electrical)

Experience: 5 - 15 years experience in the Electrical Engineering discipline in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or allied industries.

Knowledge in:

Codes & Standards applicable to the Industry
Sequence of operations required for installation, testing, commissioning and handing over of various electrical equipments.
Checking of various drawings as SLD, earthing layouts, interconnection schemes, PCC, PMCC operations, transformer, bus ducts, cable schedules, conduit layouts, cable routes, generators, motors etc.
Material issue and reconciliation procedures, wastage control.

Desirable skills and attributes:

Understanding of overall construction activities and accordingly mobilize resources.
Interpretation of various electrical drawings, identifying various bottlenecks with other works such as civil, mechanical and automation
Basic computer knowledge.
