We are currently supporting Business Development Requirements requirements Job Location-New Delhi *Job description* Fulfill the role of business development with the primary responsibility of taking IBM Research technologies to market through various go-to-market accelerators. The position offers a bridge role between innovative technology, customers and IBM market-facing organizations. The role entails understanding Research technologies at a broad technical level and exploring various routes to market for these technologies, including IP licensing. The role requires identification of potential markets for a technology, competitive landscape assessment, interaction with potential customers, lead generation, business case preparation and deal closure. The role requires working closely with Researchers from a technical and solutions perspective. In addition, the role also requires close synchronization with customers, business partners and IBM’s client-facing divisions. The role is also responsible for technical thought leadership and leading the delivery of technology solutions in the sector, working with research teams worldwide ## Required skills: · Qualifications: Engineer (Electrical, Computer Science) with MBA; preferable from IIT & IIMs · Work Experience: business development experience, preferably with software product firms · Strong communication skills – written and oral · Strong business acumen · Some project experience including solution architecture and project management · In-depth knowledge about one or more technology areas (Industrial / Telecom / Distribution / FSS sectors ## Responsibility : · Establish close working relationship and trusted advisor status with key technical and solution leaders. · Work with partner IBM’s client-facing divisions to achieve higher mind share. · Build market insight and act as an in-house expert on market feasibility of specific technologies · Work with IBM client-facing organizations on client proposals; such as POCs, RFIs,RFPs, etc. · Propose innovative solutions across sectors (Industrial / Telecom / Distribution / FSS),which would provide unique value to clients. · Demonstrate thought leadership and be known for understanding client requirements. · Ensure IBM research assets and capabilities are aligned with the client-facing division’s technical and client strategy. · Ensure compliance with engagement procedures, intellectual property guidelines and legal requirements. · Protect and preserve IBM Research’s Intellectual Property and respect client’s confidential information which engaging with them. · Work in a manner that maintains the highest client service standards. · Achieve a high level of understanding of IBM Research products, technology and strategy, industry solutions/experience and competitive differentiation · Conduct regular technology updates to ensure a high-level of technical understanding and motivation around the IBM Research technologies. · Minimum 16 years of education required · Total 6 to 8 years of experience required · Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience required ------------------------------ ---------------------------- * If you find yourself interested with the position please revert with your profile and the following details:* Current CTC | Expected CTC | Notice Period | % Marks And Year of passing for 10th/12th/B.Tech./M.Tech *References welcome and well appreciated!* *PLEASE MAIL YOUR RESPONSES TO ** This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
