Job Description
Lime Spot LLC, a New York City-based software development & technology company with a sister office in India, is looking for a "Technical lead" for its India Office who is self-motivated, enjoys start-up environments, and can take ownership of tasks. This role offers an excellent opportunity for leading the team of talented developers in the space of Online Services Marketplace and web development.
Responsibilities Include:
Design, Architect and development of Limeexchange.com – The next generation Online Services Marketplace Leading a team of highly qualified and talented developers.
Qualifications:
You must have:
An Engineering degree from IIT/REC or any Tier 1 Engineering Institute.
Minimum 6 years of experience in with atleast 2-3 yrs in Web based Product/Application development.
Hands-on experience in designing and developing Web Applications in any web technology such as Ruby on Rails, Java or .NET.
Significant experience in developing web application on Linux platform.
Leading a team of developers
Strong understanding of web protocols and fundamentals
SQL database experience, MySQL experience is a plus
Ability to learn quickly
Fantastic communication skills
It would be great if you also had:
Experience on open source technologies.
Apache knowledge (clusters, proxying, load balancing, SSL).
Experience on NDB – MySQL
Knowledge of AJAX
