Groupon is the fastest-growing internet business in history. We (proudly) invented the white-hot social commerce business and are (humbly) the world leader in local commerce platforms. Groupon is starting new initiatives in their Bangalore office to complement the engineering teams in Palo Alto, Chicago and Berlin to help us build and test high-scale, web e-commerce apps that run non-stop around the globe. We are looking for high energy individuals who can confidently navigate an unstructured environment who enjoys learning new technologies and thrives on the challenges of working in start-up mode.

Responsibilities:

· End to end testing for Groupon web app
· Build and maintain automated tests that cover end-to-end scenarios using technologies such as RSpec, Selenium, BrowserMob, SauceLabs, JMeter, and curl.
· Develop reporting tools and test metrics.
· Address multiple testing concerns such as functionality, performance, security, accessibility, and localization.

Requirements:

· BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
· Track record of testing cool web applications (range from 2-5 years)
· Expert in at least one compiled language (C, Java) and one dynamic scripting language (e.g. Ruby, Python, Perl).
· Working knowledge of web technologies such as HTTP, HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
