Responsibilities

• Design, implement and test features across the mFino mobile transaction platform

• Work with cutting edge search engine, information retrieval and database technologies

• Work closely with architects and leads to take ownership of and help test, release and maintain the solutions you develop

• Ownership of the full application development lifecycle - requirements analysis, design, coding, debugging and product release

• Work with product and development teams to provide innovative customer solutions

• Work with the management team to put processes and practices in place to ensure we can remain efficient as we scale the team

Skills and Experience

• 6-10+ years of industry software development experience

• Strong data analysis and data modeling skills

• Ability to design scalable solutions for complex and large data volumes

• Strong knowledge of networked application environment, including various client-server technologies

• Deep knowledge of Java Programming using J2EE environment, with knowledge of JDBC

• Deep understanding of OO design

• Experience writing multi-threaded applications

• Knowledge of working in an Eclipse environment highly desirable

• Experience with performance tuning Java-based applications desirable

• Strong work ethic, commitment and teamwork

• Excellent time management, communications, decision making, presentation and organization skills

• Functions well under tight schedules, responds calmly and productively to high pressure situations

• 4-8+ years of industry software development experience.

Education

• Bachelors or Masters from premier Institutes preferred.
