We provide Instant Technology Relief® to consumers and small businesses via channel partners and the www.support.com site. Support.com India is looking for a Software Engineer-QA who will develop and execute product test cases and automated test harnesses for directed software applications, solutions and services. The Software Engineer-QA will be accountable for developing and implementing software Test Plans, implementing solutions for complex problems in the current and developing products.

Responsibilities:

1. Understand product features and execute real-world test cases, automated test harnesses and use cases.

2. Identify Functional Areas for Test Automation.

3. Use existing test tools and implement new tools as necessary.

4. Maintain existing automation Framework, Modify/Develop new Framework as necessary.

5. Develop automation coverage using Watin/C#/White.

6. Configure the necessary test environment including OS installation and IT setup.

7.     Demonstrate creativity in identifying effective approaches to testing process and promote opportunities for product innovation.

8. Communicate testing status and issues on a regular basis with help of company-approved procedures.

9.      Understand the basics of Support.com technology architecture

10. Retain and keep appraised of technical tools and processes relating to testing.

Qualifications:

1. Exhibit a “can-do” approach and inspire associates to excel, confront negative attitudes and develop a team spirit.

2. B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech/M.E from an accredited university or college (domestic and/or international) with a minimum of two years in software engineering.

3. Must have programming ability in one or more of Scripting, C#, ASP/JSP, Java, C++.

4. Must be proficient in Quality Assurance processes and methodologies.

5. Must be proficient in development environments, debugging tools, source control systems, bug tracking and testing tools.

6. Experience with testing enterprise level applications and in White box testing

7. Excellent written,verbal, presentation and listening communication skills. Must be able to read and interpret complex information.
