Our client, a MNC consulting firm is seeking Manager/ Asst. Mgr for its Direct Tax practice
 
Position:Manager / Asst Mgr – Direct Tax (Two roles)
Client: MNC Consulting firm
Location:Mumbai
Qualification:CA / MBA / LLB
Experience: 2+ yrs
 
Role: Following are the key responsibilities and activities to be carried out
 
* Advising clients on various provisions of the domestic tax laws 
* Providing tax structuring advices and interpreting double tax conventions entered into between India and other countries.
* Advising clients on FDI / investment regulations / forex laws 
* Advice on company law regulations and assisting in incorporation of companies
* Preparing Tax Returns, Appearing before the tax authorities for assessments, preparing submissions before the appellate authorities and appearing before them. 
 
Requirements:Following are the skills, knowledge and experience required
 
* Good Knowledge of Direct Tax, Corporate tax, DTAA, International tax etc. 
* Basic knowledge of Indirect tax, 
* Work exposure in Regulatory work related to SEBI, RBI, NBFC, FEMA etc
* Good communication, presentation  & planning skills
* Experience of handling large as well as MNC clients
