Candidate Profile : The interested candidates should have a Degree in Electronics/ Instrumentation with at least 10 years of experience in a similar area. Experience in the manufacturing sector will be desirable, though not essential.
Job Description:
Identifying and ensuring implementation of appropriate technology in Electronics domain for productivity increase and product quality improvement, keeping in view cost, safety and standardisation.
To ensure the upkeep of electrical / electronics infrastructure in all the factories, planning and implementation of maintenance activities, continual improvement, adoption of best contemporary practices and cost effective solutions.
The incumbent will be taken as a specialist and will be reporting directly to the Head of Engineering at the HO. The position is based out of Bangalore.
The principal accountabilities will include the following:
• Ensure smooth operations in all Factories by regular monitoring and supervision • Ensure timely maintenance in all factories of the division • Support new technology induction in factories • To ensure that best practices are designed and implemented across the Division in line with international benchmarks • Regular Interaction with vendors to focus on Controls and Automation • Focus on Vendor Development and Vendor Relationship
