Job Description KAVI Software Inc, a leading software services firm located in Atlanta, USA is opening its offshore center in India. KAVI specializes in IT services in transportation, logistics, media and broadcasting services for its fortune 500 clients in Atlanta, USA. In order to better serve its major client, KAVI is setting up an application development center in India. KAVI needs experienced and motivated engineers to staff its operation in India. At KAVI, a Software Engineer is expected to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Independently design, develop, debug application programs in C++ and Java - Independently design, develop, debug Shell Scripts in UNIX - Understand the existing C++ and Java applications and trouble shoot problems reported by the user community
- Aplication performance tuning
- Develop DB2 & ORACLE applications using Java,JDBC,SQL,C++,CLI
- Interact with user community in the development life cycle - Independently develop/modify STRUTS GUI
- Work with our US team in analysis, design and development tasks Desired Candidate Profile - Only MTech/ME Graduates of IIT, NIT, BHU and other nationally renowned engineering institution need to apply. Only candidates with exceptionally strong academic qualifications will be considered. - 1-2 years of programming experience in C++ and/or Java - Experience developing programs on UNIX platform - Excellent written and spoken communication in English PS: Job location for the initial 6 months will be Hyderabad.
