PRINICIPAL ENGINEERING- QA

DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

• Understand product features, business use cases, Product Architecture in depth

• Identify Areas for Test Automation and Improve test automation coverage using C#/Watin/White with focusing ROI

• Configure the necessary test environment including OS installation, network configurations, application deployment to facilitate the automated test execution

• Demonstrate creativity in identifying effective approaches to testing, deployment and test automation process and promote opportunities for product innovation

• Communicate the status of test automation initiatives and issues on a regular basis

• Use existing test tools, identify and implement new test tools as necessary

• Explore and keep appraised of new technical tools and processes relating to testing

• Retain and keep appraised of new technology and processes relating to testing

• B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech/M.E from an accredited university or college (domestic or International.)

• Minimum 7 years of experience in software development or test automation

• Exhibit a “can-do” approach and inspire associates to excel and develop a team spirit

• Excellent written, verbal, presentation communication skills. Must be able to read and interpret complex information, talk with Customer/Partners and listen attentively

• Must have programming ability in one or more in C#, C++, HTML, ASP/JSP, VBScript, JavaScript, XML, UNIX scripting

• Experience in test automation and white box testing for web based enterprise applications and consumer focused standalone applications

• Must have a strong database skills including installation, setup and developing SQL to verify complex data reports

• Must be proficient in Quality Assurance processes and methodologies

• Must be proficient in development environments, debugging tools, source control systems, bug tracking and testing tools Ability to design test plans and execute test procedures for Support Infrastructure products
