Job Description :              1) Customer Support: Handle quality/build concerns at customer end. Initiate containment actions to protect customer line disruptions. Ensure timely response for customer concerns and drive permanent corrective actions within the plant. Handle senior customer management interactions.        2) Incoming Quality & Supplier Issues: Ensure quality of incoming parts. Evolve inspection standards for incoming parts. Measure / monitor PPM of purchased parts and drive permanent corrective actions at supplier end. Initiate 100% sorting / inspection to prevent disruption in manufacturing lines. Conduct review with supplier senior management to escalate and close ongoing issues in purchased parts. Initiate supplier chargeback in case of sorting or line disruptions due to quality issues in purchased parts.           3) New Model Support: Be part of CFT to ensure hassle - free launch of new models. Plan and procure required gauges and conduct testing. Develop test report and inspection reports for new parts / model. Ensure TGWs from past programs are addressed during product realization. Conduct PPAP / PSW for all new products and engineering changes. PSW / Master / Limit sample sign - off with customers. 4) Quality / Business Metrics: Monitor customer PPM, deliver ratings and warranty performances. Drive corrective / improvement actions to better the performance. Conduct business operating reviews to track and improve business performance. Champion 6 sigma’s  projects & improve divisions 6 sigma capability.         5) Quality Systems: Implementation of quality systems, procedures and customer specific standards. Plan and conduct system / process audits and drive closure of non - conformances.           6) Process Quality: Participate in preparation of PFMEA & Control plans. Ensure first - off, periodic inspections and in - process tests are conducted. Perform PDI / dock audits to ensure quality of parts supplied to customers. SPC implementation and interpretation. Identify and implement process improvement actions. Conduct training programs on quality internally.            7) Functional Responsibilities: Generate and meet yearly expense and investment budgets of quality function. Plan and recruit manpower to meet the business requirement. Â
