I was writing about a new opportunity in Mumbai with one of our large IT Global Clients and I wanted find suitable and interested candidates. Position Title: Telecom Channel Account Manager,India. This role is responsible for the overall Telecom devices business in the Western region of India (Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh) and has been created to manage and develop sales & business development activities of company products' resellers / re-distributors in this region. This individual will develop the overall business plan for the region and also work with Carrier teams to execute the plan to achieve business objectives in the specified region. This is a key role within the Telecom Business at the company managing the most prospective regional market for it's products. Reports to: Head of Telecom, India Location: Mumbai KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  Develop and implement retail & distribution sales plan for Greater Mumbai and other Western geographies (Gujarat / MP/Chhatisgarh)  Manage key Modern trade accounts (Mumbai based) and their overall business at National level  Manage relationship with existing Carrier distributors and work closely with them to achieve sales target  Implement and monitor performance metrics for city distributors and establish a reporting mechanism that meets the business needs  Owns complete sales responsibility for Western region Telecom businessÂ
