For one our IT client, we are seeking Sales Manager - India (Head of Sales for the region). Our Client is one of the fastest growing IT companies in the SCM space. Key Requirements: * 12-15 years of relevant experiencein International Sales, out of which at least 4-5 years of experience in ERP, CRM, Supply Chain Software product sales * Strong Sales management and team management skills. * Extremely organized and highly motivated * Must have both the sales skills and technical knowledge to make presentations and lead customer discussions to advance the sales process * Strong understanding of customer, Market dynamics and requirements * Willingness to travel and work with global clients * Proven leadershipand ability to drive sales teams * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Excellent presentation and documentation skills. Key Responsibilities * Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the Indian market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability * Responsible for development and performance of all sales activities in India. * Establish plans & strategies to expand customer base and penetrate new markets * Contribute to the development of training programs for clients and the Sales team. * Responsible for client account management activities. Responsibility to ensure that key customer accounts continue to thrive and grow * Drive and direct the sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values.
Detailed Work Profile: * Responsible for Sales planning and accurate forecasting * Responsible for achieving the Sales targets set for Indian market * Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the Indian market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability * Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new and untapped markets * Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed * Prepare action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects * Conduct one-on-one review with all Pre Sales Executives to build more effective communications, * Understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of Pre Sales Executive’s performance * Assist Pre Sales Executives in preparation of proposals and presentations * Create and conduct proposal presentations like RFI and RFP responses for international customers * Organize and participate in Sales campaigns, Conferences, Exhibitions and Road shows * Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin * Maintain accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted * Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding the market and performance * Control expenses to meet budget guidelines * Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
