The Bangalore Branch Manager is responsible for the successful roll out of GreenMango in Bangalore. This includes managing all aspects of the local office including business development, sales, marketing and operations. This position is responsible for establishing an integrated approach to selling GreenMango’s services to both vendors and shoppers The Branch Manger closely interfaces and coordinates activities with the Management Team located at GreenMango’s headquarters in Hyderabad. Responsibilities: • Develop an integrated sales and marketing approach for both vendors and shoppers. Specific activities to include: o Generate revenues by building a quality database of vendors and driving traffic (shoppers) to the website o Establish sales goals, territories and team assignments for the sales associates o Provide necessary training to the sales associates including sales presentation and customer service skills o Identify new sources of revenue through business opportunities and partnerships o Supervise the preparation, issuance and delivery of sales materials, exhibits and promotion activities • Build a highly motivated, effective and professional team of employees and outsource service providers. Manage all aspects of human resource development including hiring, training and performance management. • Develop and manage sales and marketing budgets, and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets. • Recommend and administer policies and procedures to enhance operations • Responsible for the day to day activities of the office including facilities and general operations • Monitor the Information Management process and manage and maintain a high level of quality over the data input process of all vendor application forms and shopper reviews • Compile and present information on team’s progress towards assigned sales, data input and quality goals. • Performs other job duties as assigned Experience: • 7+ years work experience and above • Sales – Proven track record of leading a team of field sales associates that effectively sold consumer products and or services (prefer telecom, logistics or FMCG) • Management – Managed a minimum of 20 people performing a variety of different tasks • Start-up – Experience in establishing a branch office, working for a start-up company Skills: • Fluent in Kannada, Hindi and English required; Tamil or Telugu is a plus • Strong leadership skills as demonstrated by the ability to build a business and a team from the ground up • Strong sales and marketing skills as shown by the ability to plan and execute sales and marketing strategies • Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations as shown by meeting revenue targets • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. • Effective time management skills as shown by the ability to simultaneously manage several projects. • Effective PC skills using Microsoft Office products • Candidate should be highly motivated, results oriented, positive outlook, enjoys the challenge of operating in a fast paced /start up environment, can effectively lead teams but can also be a team player Education: • Degree required (B.Sc., B.A., B.Com., B.E./Tech) • MBA preferred About GreenMango GreenMango is the largest online platform in India for informal businesses to connect with their customers.
