Role – The position of CMO at IIM Indore will require an entrepreneurial outlook in building the brand perception of IIM Indore - among recruiters, corporate clients and potential students.

Key Responsibilities – The CMO would 1. Liaise on behalf of IIM Indore with companies for placements as well as other avenues of student engagement, such as business conclaves, management development programmes, consultancy assignments, student projects etc.

2. Organize student counseling sessions in various cities and through various media for students with IIM Indore offers.

3. Market the different types of management development programmes to companies and individuals Job Specification Experience – More than 2 years of work experience, preferably in marketing or sales. Education Qualification – Preferably an MBA Skills Required –

The CMO must have: § Entrepreneurial attitude § Ability to deliver in an unclearly defined role with lack of precedence § Excellent selling skills § Experience in strategic marketing or brand building § Ability to work with diverse set of people, viz. Professors, staff and students of IIM Indore as well as the corporate community § Ability to outsource certain responsibilities and manage vendors § Strong networking skills Team The CMO will directly work with the institute's Director and his or her team will primarily comprise of the institute admissions and placements related staff, as well as the student bodies responsible for admissions counseling and placements.
