Position Title: Telecom Channel Account Manager,India.Â
This role is responsible for the overall Telecom devices business in the Western region of India (Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh) and has been created to manage and develop sales & business development activities of company products' resellers / re-distributors in this region. This individual will develop the overall business plan for the region and also work with Carrier teams to execute the plan to achieve business objectives in the specified region. This is a key role within the Telecom Business at the company managing the most prospective regional market for it's products.Â

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESÂ ď‚§ Develop and implement retail & distribution sales plan for Greater Mumbai and other Western geographies (Gujarat / MP/Chhatisgarh)Â
ď‚§ Manage key Modern trade accounts (Mumbai based) and their overall business at National levelÂ
ď‚§ Manage relationship with existing Carrier distributors and work closely with them to achieve sales targetÂ
ď‚§ Implement and monitor performance metrics for city distributors and establish a reporting mechanism that meets the business needsÂ
ď‚§ Owns complete sales responsibility for Western region Telecom businessÂ
Role Specification:Â ď‚§ Develops and implements sales target with regional distributors and Modern Trade accountsÂ
ď‚§ Provides market support and ensures relationship and engagement with the channel partnersÂ
ď‚§ Acts as the first point of contact for channel for any sales/commercial issuesÂ
ď‚§ Indirectly manages channel partners/retailers and monitors competition activitiesÂ
ď‚§ Drives secondary placements and implements schemes/incentives for tertiary sales through distributorsÂ
ď‚§ Monitors channel stock levels and ensures product availability in targeted areasÂ
ď‚§ Develops newer point of sales and wider availability of products across the channelÂ
ď‚§ Secures store level presence (in shop shelf space and branding)Â
ď‚§ Ensures activations incentives from Carriers are seamlessly implemented in the channelÂ
ď‚§ Facilitates training for channel partners on new products and servicesÂ
This requires a minimum of 10 years work experience with atleast 4-5 years of Sales and Distribution with a telecom devices manufacturing company.
