JOB DESCRIPTION:
Country Manager, India

The ideal candidate will be an inspirational leader with a proven track record in a senior position in an online / New Media organisation. We're looking for an energetic self-starter with strong management experience who is pro-active in team building and increasing revenue. You must be results-driven and have strong analytical skills. The Country Manager is expected to understand and be able to articulate the overall business objectives of the Fox Interactive Media organisation and lead a team of marketing and sales managers. This role will primarily be responsible for developing and implementing the strategic direction for India.

Responsibilities Include:

• Recruit and build a team
• Drive growth and exceed KPIs for the country
• Market analysis
• Maintain expert knowledge of online landscape and trends and be able to convey that expertise to the team
• Train and supervise team
• Work closely with the VP, Asia Operations to develop and implement country strategy
• Provide VP, Asia Operations with progress against agreed targets/measures
• Evaluation and execution of business development opportunities for Fox Interactive Media properties

Qualifications/Experience:

• 5+ years management experience
• Understanding of the Indian media and internet markets
• Experience of business development and / or advertising sales and an understanding of the marketing function within MySpace and other Fox Interactive Media properties
• Relationships with decision makers in ad agencies, key advertisers and media/entertainment companies
• Experience of budget management / P & L responsibility
• Proven track record of and reaching / exceeding KPIs
• Exceptional management skills in a frenetic, high growth environment
• Innovative and resilient
• Strong quantitative skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong presentation skills, with an emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel
• Ability and desire in building a team from the ground up
• Fluency in English
