Centre for Emerging Markets Solutions (CEMS) is one of the eight centres of Excellence and aims at developing market based solutions for issues relating to economic development in the emerging markets. One of the focus areas of the centre is Employability and Skill development.
India, with a working age population of over 700 million, is at the threshold of reaping a ‘demographic dividend’. Dr. Reddy’s Cell for Employability and Skill Development was setup as a vertical of CEMS to conduct research and to develop business models to assist the Government, Development agencies and the Industry to catalyze the private sector participation in employability and skill development market.
We are looking for passionate and driven researchers who are interested in a career in development, research and public policy to develop solutions for this challenging sector. We are looking for candidates with the following profiles:

Education: Masters in Economics/Policy/ Business Administration from a reputed institute
Position Responsibilities
   * Study the private sector involvement in employment and skill development market in India
   * Study success drivers of key state-level and central-level skill development models in India
   * Assist in developing strategies and implementing state-level skill development missions
   * Assume responsibility for the administrative and logistics side of the Centre’s initiatives like conferences, seminars, working groups related to education and skill development skills
   * Proficient with making presentations and strong written and verbal communication skills
   * Conduct statistical analysis and prepare white papers, reports and articles
   * Ability to independently deliver on projects with clear milestones and deliverables
   * Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze and prepare financial statements
   * Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective execution of the Centre’s challenges
   * Demonstrated passion for development, policy and emerging markets
Candidate Profile
   * Master degree in economics, policy or business administration
   * Candidate must display passion for development, public policy and emerging markets
   * Must be a good team player and have excellent communication skills
