JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for successful development, planning, installation, erection, testing and commissioning of the proposed berthing facilities at port.

Project Management Responsibilities -

Establish, operate and maintain systems to monitor project schedule, cost, quality, safety and environment to agreed targets.
Finalize contractors / vendors based on evaluation in collaboration with the corporate groups in procurement and finance.
Monitor and act on progress of project according to schedule and within budgetary guidelines and ensure timely completion.

Lead project review meetings with the consultants/contractors on technical issues related to planning, monitoring and engineering.
Lead and oversee tendering and contracting process in close consultation with the corporate groups and review the final contracts.
Be a team member and work closely with other members of the corporate senior management for all project matters with a view to ensure their satisfactory resolution.
Participate in and be responsible for project monitoring in Monthly / Quarterly reviews including Group Centre and Promoters.

EXPERTIZE & QUALIFICATIONS

· Techno-commercial background with experience in implementation of large size marine projects from concept to commissioning with an overall experience of 15+ years.
· Commercially astute, Proficiency in the technical & commercial evaluation & proposals, Tendering Cost, Project Cost estimation.
· Strong owners side project management skills. Domain expertise in engineering, planning & scheduling and execution, monitoring site progress, cost control, resource planning and utilization and negotiating skills.
Development & Liaison.
· Impart training to team members.
· Co-ordination with different agencies to bring synergy and completion.
· Liasoning with all the Government agencies.
