Inclusive Planet is hiring! One of the most exciting social ventures in the world is looking for a young engineering graduate from a leading university (IITS, NITS etc.) to work on its core product offering

Who we are and what is our product inclusiveplanet.com is an online platform that enables persons with print-impairment to connect with each other, share accessible content and build conversations and communities around these shared experiences. In short, inclusiveplanet.com enables the print-impaired to come together to solve their greatest challenges.

The site launched in October 2009 and already has nearly 4000 users from more than 75 countries. What we are doing is unique in many ways. We are building a technology platform designed from the ground up for people with print impairments. Standard solutions do not apply. Every piece of product design has to be thought through with clarity and an open explorative mind-set. And, there are natural constraints that come in a start up environment. We have a small team and every resource is precious. Who we are looking for Keeping in mind the unique nature of Inclusive Planet and the rapid growth that we have had, we realise that we need to strengthen our product development team.

We are looking for someone who will strive to re-think product development; someone with strong analytical as well as communications skills. We need a team player who can take on responsibilities above and beyond the ordinary and is willing to learn and develop capabilities in product design, project management and data analysis. As Assistant Product and Project Manager based out of Bangalore you will be responsible for overseeing execution of new product additions (development, testing and delivery). You will work closely with both the development team as well as the end users to further develop our product.

Responsibilities:

· Develop a strong understanding of our design and product philosophy.

· Understand the needs of the print impaired community in terms of access as well as design.

· Understand the way that community and product interact and use analytical tools to tease out insights for future product development.

· Develop and document requirements, workflows and execution strategies for new functionality.

· Work closely with the development team to execute product development plans.

Requirements:

· Engineering graduate (0-1 years of workex) from a leading engineering college

· Excited by the concept of Inclusive Planet, and is driven to take up the challenge

· Passionate about crafting experiences by design.

· Distinctive problem solving and analytical skills.

· Excellent attention to detail.

· Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.

· Knowledge and experience in web technologies (php, mysql etc) preferred, but not compulsory.
